Cathedral Grove (MacMillan Provincial Park)

Old-growth Douglas firs on a flat 800 m boardwalk loop, 35 minutes inland from Parksville. Some trees are 800 years old and 80+ metres tall. Best visited mid-week to dodge the tour buses.
